Important upgrades - New CalendarFly functionality!
May 21, 2009
You can now copy an event to multiple calendars
A much requested feature, an administrator of any group may copy that event to any other group for which they are an administrator. This makes it simple to invite multiple groups of people to the same event. Try it out!
CalendarFly can now GEO Code your locations
Enter the location of your event in the location field in Geo Code (e.g. house number, street name, city, state) - and a Google Maps map of that location appears on that event's Event Page. No more getting lost on the way!
Group Page Header is now the Group color
It is now easier than ever to see which group page you are in because the group color now shows up as the group page header. (This works particularly well in any decent browser....meaning ie has trouble with it)
Children's events now show up as their own color (no longer just grey) on their parent calendars.
Up until now, parents have seen their children's events on their calendars as grey squares - now they will show up as a color - customizable in the same way users can change group colors (Group Edit)
Group administrators can now track how often people click on group resources.
When a group administrator goes into group edit, they can now see how many times a resource (link) has been clicked - useful if a teacher is trying to figure if their students actually go to the pages they've been directed to read.
As always, we continue to work to improve CalendarFly - if you have feedback on these new features/enhancements or want to suggest one, contact us at contact@calendarfly.com.
Have a great Memorial Day!
