VCIC Venture Capital Investment Competition 2010 Mar 25, 2010
We're just concluding a fantastic couple of days in California, but before more detail on DEMO spring 2010, we wanted to fill you in on another great experience -- on March 5th, we had the pleasure of presenting CalendarFly at the  VCIC Venture Capital Investment Competition in the Northeast Region held at NYU Stern’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. CalendarFly was one of three firms invited to present to teams of students from top notch business schools (Columbia, Cornell, MIT, Yale....) each of which won the competition within their school to be able to participate. We "pitched," and students got to grill us and develop term sheets, and the teams' efforts were judged by a terrific group of VCs.

CalendarFly in NYC, Philly and the Press! Jun 6, 2009

We are thrilled to announce we were accepted into a competitive incubator program in Philladelphia called GoodCompany Ventures

At the GoodCompany Ventures kick-off, I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Nutter, Mayor of Philadelphia, who is smart, funny, and eager to help the Good Ventures companies succeed.

And, CalendarFly was selected as one of 60 companies provided a free booth at this year's NYC Internet Week Showcase.  Katie and I spent four hours presenting CalendarFly to over 50 people, had a great time and have already have some follow up business interest.

Probably due to this great exposure, CalendarFly has been mentioned a few times in some great places around the internet - check out these shout-outs:

Small update- Big updates to come Apr 21, 2009
Hi all, some quick updates,

1. We have finally found a fix for the pesky safari bug
2. Recent activity now updates, by default, every 30 seconds.
3. You can add the past to "Upcoming"!
4. Schedule conflicts are easier to see.
5. We fixed a small bug: Some people found that, if they increased font size on their computer,  they could not see the logout button.
6. You now have the ability to move around the calendar using the keyboard!  ctrl left and ctrl right now advance the calendar by a month or a week depending on view, and ctrl e brings up the add new event box.
